Get a Job. Get Paid in Stocks.

Wagie Company is a satirical DeFi protocol on the BNB Chain, presented as a corporate intranet. You burn $WAGIE to mint a soulbound Employee Badge NFT, climb the corporate ladder, and collect automated stock dividends every payroll cycle. In the company's own words: no fluff, just business.

⚠️
Compliance NoticeWagie Company is satirical corporate performance art. The badges, burns, and payroll distributions are real on-chain assets on BNB Chain. The corporate HR framing is a bit. Nothing here is financial advice. DYOR.

What Wagie Company is

Per the official company line: "The first upgradeable NFT Protocol on BEP-20. Climb up the career ladder with your Wagie." In practice, that means three interlocking mechanics:

  • Burn to get hired. $WAGIE tokens are burned to mint an Employee Badge NFT. Everyone starts at the bottom as a Janitor.
  • Burn to get promoted. More burns upgrade the same badge, one level at a time, up to CEO. Each level raises your payroll weight multiplier.
  • Get paid in stocks. An automated Keeper Bot converts protocol fees (BNB) into tokenized stocks called bStocks (GOOGLB, NVDAB, MSFTB and others) and distributes them to all employees by weight.

The employee handbook puts it plainly: there are no pizza Fridays or ping pong tables here, only hard yields and relentless career climbing.

Where to go next

Quickstart: Standard Operating Procedure

Onboarding takes four steps and a few wallet confirmations.

Acquire $WAGIE

Purchase WAGIE tokens from the open market (the token trades on flap.sh, on BNB Chain). This is your ticket in.

Mint your badge

Burn 50,000 WAGIE to mint an Employee Badge NFT. You start as a Janitor at Level 1 with 1.0x payroll weight.

Climb the ladder

Burn more WAGIE to promote your badge one level at a time, from Intern up through Manager, Executive, Director, and VP to CEO at 4.0x weight.

Collect pay

The Keeper Bot automatically buys bStocks with protocol yield and credits every employee by weight. Claim your pending paycheck from the Office portal whenever you like.

Where the buttons live

  • Office (wagie.company/office): badge in with your wallet, mint, promote, and collect your paycheck. All wallet actions happen here.
  • Payroll (wagie.company/payroll): treasury reserves, burn metrics, and the live distribution ledger.
  • Employees (wagie.company/employees): the on-chain corporate roster and org chart.
  • Records (wagie.company/records): your private KPI profile, punch card, and the leaderboard.
🔥
Before you click confirmBurns are permanent, and badges are soulbound: minted to your wallet forever, non-transferable, one per wallet. Read Employee_Badge.nft before committing tokens.

The $WAGIE Token

$WAGIE is the protocol's BEP-20 utility token on BNB Chain. Its main purpose in the protocol is to be burned.

What it does

  • Hiring fee. Burned to mint your Employee Badge NFT (50,000 WAGIE for the Janitor badge).
  • Promotion fee. Burned again for every step up the career ladder, at the configured cost per level.
  • Deflationary pressure. Every hire and promotion permanently destroys supply. Per the Code of Conduct: "Your sacrifice is our collective gain."

What it does not do

  • No governance. $WAGIE carries no voting rights.
  • No direct yield. Holding $WAGIE by itself pays nothing. Payroll goes to badge holders, weighted by badge level.

Buybacks

The team routes creator and LP rewards into $WAGIE buybacks, announced on @wagiecompany as they happen. These buybacks work alongside mint and promotion burns to reduce circulating supply.

The Employee Badge NFT

The Employee Badge NFT records your employment on-chain: your level, hire date, and lifetime payroll. Wagie is the first upgradeable NFT protocol on BEP-20, so the badge you mint is the same badge you later promote.

Properties

  • Soulbound. The badge is permanently tied to the wallet that minted it. The contract rejects ordinary NFT transfers, so it cannot be sold, gifted, or moved. Your payroll weight and accrued rewards stay with the wallet that earned them.
  • One per wallet. Enforced on-chain. You cannot stack badges; to earn more, promote the one you have.
  • Upgradeable, one step at a time. Promotions burn $WAGIE and advance the badge exactly one level. Reaching CEO from Janitor requires every intermediate promotion.
  • On-chain metadata. The badge encodes your level, hire date, and lifetime payroll received. Promotions update the level it represents. Level artwork URLs can only change through an authorised owner transaction. Editing app text alone cannot silently alter a published NFT.
🔥
Irreversible by design$WAGIE sent to the burn address is destroyed forever, and level upgrades cannot be undone. Keeper safety refunds only cover failed payroll cycles. They never refund an employee's $WAGIE burn.

Why soulbound?

The badge works as a credential. It proves that a specific wallet did the burning, holds the weight, and accrued the payroll history. If badges could be traded, a buyer could pick up seniority they never earned, so transfers are blocked at the contract level.

The company roster

Every badge appears in the public org chart at wagie.company/employees, showing badge number, wallet, position, level, and KPI streak.

The Career Ladder

Upward mobility at Wagie Company requires sacrifice. Every promotion burns $WAGIE and permanently raises your payroll weight multiplier.

Levels & costs

LevelTitleMultiplierMint / Next-Step Burn
1Janitor1.0x50,000 WAGIE
2Intern1.5x25,000 WAGIE
3Manager2.0x30,000 WAGIE
4Executive2.5x35,000 WAGIE
5Director3.0x40,000 WAGIE
6VP3.5x45,000 WAGIE
7CEO4.0x50,000 WAGIE

Each promotion charges only the destination level's cost. There is no cumulative all-level fee, and no level can be skipped. The full climb from Janitor to CEO burns 255,000 WAGIE in total: 50,000 for the mint and 205,000 across the six promotions. Costs are configurable on-chain, and the intranet always reads the live values.

How weight becomes pay

Your share of every distribution is your weight divided by the company's total active weight. Shares are proportional rather than fixed per rank.

🧮
Worked exampleIf total employee weight is 100 units, a Level 1 Janitor contributes 10 units (1.0x) and a Level 7 CEO contributes 40 units (4.0x). The CEO collects exactly four times the Janitor's payout rather than a fixed 35% of the pot. Every new hire and promotion changes everyone's percentage.

Promotion strategy notes

  • Promotions apply to all future distributions immediately, so an early climb earns the higher multiplier across more cycles.
  • The step from Janitor to Intern is the cheapest at 25,000 WAGIE. Each later step costs 5,000 more for the same 0.5x increase.
  • Per the Code of Conduct: do not ask for a raise. You buy a raise by burning $WAGIE. There is no HR department to petition.

bStocks: The Approved Roster

Payroll is paid in bStocks: tokenized stock assets on BNB Chain, drawn from an ordered, explicitly allowlisted roster managed by Corporate. The protocol's own token is never used for payroll.

Current roster

AssetTracks
SPCXBSpaceX
MSFTBMicrosoft
GOOGLBGoogle
NVDABNVIDIA
SPYBS&P 500 (SPY)
TSLABTesla
AAPLBApple

Lifetime payout totals per asset are shown live on wagie.company/payroll.

How the rotation works

  • The roster is ordered. Each payroll cycle buys one scheduled bStock, the next one in the rotation, shown beside NEXT PAYROLL in the intranet navigation bar. A cycle is never split across the full roster.
  • If the scheduled stock cannot be bought safely (a failed quote, simulation, or swap), the Keeper tries the next eligible stock in order during the same cycle.
  • The fixed schedule only advances past the originally scheduled stock after a confirmed distribution, even if a fallback stock is the one that paid.
💼
These are real tokensDistributed bStocks are real assets on BNB Chain, purchased through PancakeSwap and transferred to your control when you collect. Store them in a wallet you control. Wagie Company is not responsible for lost private keys.

How Payroll Works

An automated Keeper Bot turns protocol fees into employee paychecks on a fixed schedule, using two contracts and a swap route.

The money flow

Fees accumulate

The Treasury Vault and Payroll contract accumulate BNB from protocol fees between cycles.

The Keeper checks in

At the configured interval (shown as the countdown in the nav bar, currently every 30 minutes), the bot evaluates combined eligible BNB across the Vault and Payroll. If funding does not meet the threshold and gas reserve, the cycle is skipped and no funds move.

Preflight checks

Before moving anything, the bot verifies the Vault and Payroll contracts, employee weight, signer roles, the token allowlist, live swap routes, token balances, and its gas budget.

Buy the scheduled stock

Vault BNB is released to Payroll, then withdrawn to the keeper (with gas reserved and recorded as debt). The swap principal buys the one scheduled bStock via PancakeSwap.

Distribute by weight

Purchased stock is transferred to the Payroll contract and credited to every employee proportional to badge weight. Only after a confirmed distribution does the schedule advance.

Safety behavior

  • Fallbacks: if a quote, final simulation, or confirmed swap fails, the bot tries the next eligible stock in the roster within the same cycle.
  • Full-cycle failure: if every safe attempt fails, the principal and unused gas budget are returned to Payroll.
  • Unknown outcomes: if a broadcast withdrawal or swap has an unconfirmed result, the bot stops without fallback or refund and blocks further keeper writes until the transaction is reconciled.
  • Skipped cycles: a skipped or safely failed cycle keeps the same scheduled stock for the next attempt.
🔑
Who holds the keysThe Keeper Bot's private key is held by Corporate and used solely to execute payroll cycles. It has no access to employee wallets or pending balances.

The paper trail

Every cycle is logged in the public Distribution Ledger on wagie.company/payroll: timestamp, asset, amount distributed, and status. Recent history shows the rotation working through GOOGLB, TSLAB, AAPLB, NVDAB, SPYB, SPCXB, and MSFTB at roughly 30 minute intervals.

Collecting Your Paycheck

Distributions accumulate in your pending balance automatically. Collecting them is a manual wallet transaction from the Office portal.

Procedure

Go to the Office

Open wagie.company/office. The security checkpoint requires you to badge in.

Badge in

Connect the employee wallet that holds your badge. Your level, pending balances, and badge actions unlock.

Collect Paycheck

Click Collect Paycheck and confirm the wallet transaction. Pending bStocks transfer to your wallet.

Good to know

  • No collection deadline. You never need to check in at a specific time. Pending payroll accumulates until you choose to collect it. The KPI punch card is a separate, optional program. See Punch_Card.log.
  • You pay the gas. Collecting is an on-chain wallet transaction, so the employee wallet normally pays BNB network gas.
  • Claims are final. Confirmed claims (like burns) are irreversible. Respect the chain.
Punch_Card.log - Event Viewer_×
C:\WAGIE\DOCS\KPI\Punch_Card.log

The KPI System

In the company's words, every good employee clocks in, and now it counts. The KPI system gives badge holders a Daily Punch Card: a wallet-signature check-in that builds streaks and ranks you against your coworkers.

How to clock in

  • Any Level 1+ badge holder can check in once every 24 hours by signing a message with their employee wallet on wagie.company/records.
  • Consecutive daily check-ins build a streak. If you miss a day, the streak resets.

Streak payouts (KPI points)

Streak dayPoints earned
Day 1100 pts
Day 2200 pts
Day 3300 pts
Day 4400 pts
Day 5500 pts
Day 6600 pts
Day 7+700 pts

Points scale with your streak up to the Day 7 cap, and your NFT level also factors into your KPI standing.

Leaderboard & Employee of the Month

The Records page ranks all employees by lifetime KPI points (ties sort by wallet). The top spot earns the 🏆 Employee of the Month plaque, displayed publicly on the intranet with the winner's badge, level, and streak.

🕐
Punch card vs. payrollClocking in only affects KPI points. Pending stock accrues by badge weight whether or not you ever touch the punch card.

C:\WAGIE\DOCS\POLICY\Code_of_Conduct.hlp

Code of Conduct

The employee handbook lists four rules, reproduced here.

The rules

  1. Do not ask for a raise. You buy a raise by burning $WAGIE and promoting your badge. There is no HR department to petition.
  2. Burn $WAGIE. The deflationary pressure benefits all holders. Your sacrifice is our collective gain.
  3. Respect the chain. Confirmed employee burns and claims are irreversible. Keeper safety refunds only return failed-cycle BNB to Payroll. They are not refunds of an employee's $WAGIE burn.
  4. No insider trading. Wagie Company does not provide financial advice. Everything here is satirical corporate performance art. DYOR.

Company property

  • Your badge is corporate-issued but wallet-bound: it cannot be sold or transferred, and the contract enforces this.
  • Distributed bStocks are yours once collected. Store them in a wallet you control.
  • Corporate cannot recover lost private keys or compromised wallets.
Risk_Notice.txt - Notepad_×
C:\WAGIE\DOCS\POLICY\Risk_Notice.txt

Risk & Disclaimers

The corporate framing is satire, but the underlying risks are real.

⚠️
Can you lose money?Yes. All DeFi protocols carry risk: smart contract bugs, liquidity crises, regulatory action, and token price volatility. Wagie Company provides no guarantees of profit or return. This is not financial advice.

Specific things to understand before participating

  • Burns are unrecoverable. $WAGIE spent on minting and promotions is destroyed rather than deposited. A badge cannot be sold, so there is no exit position.
  • Payroll depends on fees. Distributions only happen when combined Vault and Payroll BNB clears the configured threshold. If fees stop flowing, distributions stop too.
  • Centralized components exist. The Keeper Bot's key is held by Corporate, and the bStock roster and level costs are owner-configurable on-chain.
  • bStocks are tokens rather than brokerage equities. They are tokenized stock assets on BNB Chain, with their own issuer, liquidity, and peg risks.
  • Satire does not reduce risk. The joke framing has no bearing on smart contract or market risk. Do your own research and read the contracts yourself (see Contracts.ini).

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions, with answers drawn from the employee handbook.

Is this a real company?
Wagie Company is a satirical DeFi protocol. The employee badges and payroll distributions are real on-chain assets, and the smart contracts run on BNB Chain. The "corporate HR" framing is a bit.
Can I sell or transfer my badge?
No. Employee badges are soulbound, and the contract rejects ordinary transfers. Your badge, payroll weight, and accrued rewards remain tied to the employee wallet that earned them.
Can I hold multiple badges?
No. The one-badge-per-wallet rule is enforced on-chain. To reach a higher level, promote the existing badge one step at a time by burning the configured $WAGIE cost.
How often does payroll run?
The Keeper Bot checks combined eligible Vault and Payroll funding at the configured interval. The live countdown and next scheduled stock appear in the intranet navigation bar. A cycle can be skipped when funding is below threshold or a safety preflight fails.
What are the approved bStock assets?
An ordered roster of explicitly allowlisted tokenized stocks, currently SPCXB, SPYB, NVDAB, AAPLB, TSLAB, MSFTB, and GOOGLB. Each successful cycle buys one primary or fallback stock from that roster. See Approved_Stocks.cfg.
What is the $WAGIE token?
The protocol's BEP-20 utility token. It is burned to mint a badge and to pay each promotion cost. It does not provide governance rights. See WAGIE_Token.dat.
Do I have to check in every day?
Only for KPI points. Payroll accrues to your pending balance regardless of activity; the daily punch card is an optional streak game on the Records page. See Punch_Card.log.
Is there a risk of losing my investment?
Yes. All DeFi protocols carry risk: smart contract bugs, liquidity crises, regulatory action, and token price volatility. Wagie Company provides no guarantees of profit or return. This is not financial advice. See Risk_Notice.txt.
